On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the State Archives of the Republic of North Macedonia, the Mayor of Ohrid, Konstantin Georgieski met the Director of the Archives Dr. Emil Krsteski, and the Head of the Regional Office in Ohrid, Dr. Nikola Mitrovic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together we emphasized that this important state institution is a true custodian of our history and culture. The archive has thousands of original documents, letters, photographs, and other materials from famous historical figures, social figures, as well as documents from the most important political-historical processes, events, and personalities that with their actions and work have left a mark in the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also talked about the opportunities for deepening the cooperation with the local self-government as well as the possibilities for creating and implementing joint projects that would be of great importance for our Ohrid, as one of the most important cultural and historical centers in our country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
