Eighth-grade pupils with their teacher from primary school \u201cDiturija\u201d\u2014municipality of Saraj from Skopje, on 30.11.2022 (Wednesday) visited the State Archives\u2014central part and got acquainted with its activity within the framework of the program on the subject of History. Pupils had the opportunity to learn about the arrangement and processing of documents and photographs as a source of the past and the Archives library, which is a place where they can research and use the book collection. The archive education program includes the observation of the conservation and restoration of documents, during which they had the opportunity to understand the techniques of document protection that were presented to them. Digitization of archive material with the help of modern scanners in the Archive was explained to them as an important process in the preservation of documents for their further use. The State Archives remains an open institution for visits and education by schools in order to affirm the archive activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
