ICARUS ( International Center for Archival Research) \u00ebsht\u00eb organizat\u00eb arkivore nd\u00ebrkomb\u00ebtare q\u00eb p\u00ebrfshin rreth 180 institucione q\u00eb punojn\u00eb n\u00eb mbrojtjen e dokumenteve arkivore, ofrojn\u00eb qasje n\u00eb k\u00ebto dokumente dhe organizojn\u00eb edukimin arkivistik. An\u00ebtar\u00ebt e ICARUS jan\u00eb kryesisht nga Evropa, por ka edhe p\u00ebrfaq\u00ebsues nga Kanadaja dhe Shtetet e Bashkuara. Tema kryesore e k\u00ebsaj Konvente ishte \u2018\u2018 Arkivat private dhe publike n\u00eb shek 21\u2019\u2019, nd\u00ebrsa p\u00ebrfaq\u00ebsues i Arkivit Shtet\u00ebror ishte drejtori dr. Emil Krsteski.  N\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb Konvent\u00eb t\u00eb drejtuar nga dr. Tomas Aigner, presidenti i ICARUS, v\u00ebmendje e ve\u00e7ant\u00eb iu kushtua proceseve q\u00eb lidhen me arkivistik\u00ebn si pjes\u00eb e shkenc\u00ebs historike dhe zhvillimit t\u00eb saj, si dhe nd\u00ebrveprimit nd\u00ebrmjet arkivave publike  dhe private, statusit t\u00eb tyre juridik, dhe mbrojtjes s\u00eb dokumenteve si dhe digjitalizimit t\u00eb tyre. Ve\u00e7an\u00ebrisht interesante ishin diskutimet se si ndryshimet sociale n\u00eb epok\u00ebn digjitale ndikojn\u00eb n\u00eb strukturat arkivore, metodat e k\u00ebrkimit dhe pun\u00ebn me dokumentet historike dhe anasjelltas.  Dokumentet arkivore nga epoka digjitale k\u00ebrkojn\u00eb metoda t\u00eb reja k\u00ebrkimore (digjitale) dhe materiali arkivor ka nj\u00eb lloj krejt\u00ebsisht t\u00eb ri p\u00ebrdoruesish q\u00eb nuk kan\u00eb nj\u00eb arsim specifik. Duke p\u00ebrshtatur avantazhet teknologjike t\u00eb koh\u00ebs digjitale me nevojat e ndryshme t\u00eb k\u00ebsaj audience t\u00eb re, k\u00ebto komunitete k\u00ebrkimore mund t\u00eb eksplorohen, sh\u00ebrbehen, aktivizohen dhe zgjerohen n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00ebn specifike. Konferenca ofroi qasje t\u00eb ndryshme p\u00ebr \u00e7\u00ebshtjet aktuale n\u00eb arkiva, por gjithashtu prezantoi nj\u00eb s\u00ebr\u00eb aktivitetesh t\u00eb projektit q\u00eb p\u00ebrfshijn\u00eb
