Kjo organizat\u00eb \u00ebsht\u00eb themeluar n\u00eb vitin 1948 dhe ka rreth 1400 an\u00ebtar\u00eb nga 199 vende dhe territore dhe ka bashk\u00ebpunim t\u00eb ngusht\u00eb me K\u00ebshillin e Evrop\u00ebs, UNESCO-n dhe shum\u00eb organizata t\u00eb tjera. N\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb dit\u00eb, profesionist\u00ebt e arkivave organizojn\u00eb nj\u00eb s\u00ebr\u00eb aktivitetesh p\u00ebrmes t\u00eb cilave duan t\u00eb t\u00ebrheqin v\u00ebmendjen e publikut p\u00ebr r\u00ebnd\u00ebsin\u00eb e dokumenteve dhe arkivave si institucione q\u00eb i ruajn\u00eb dhe mbrojn\u00eb ato.
