The study of the history of the Macedonian state, people, and emigration present in European countries is of particular interest to the State Archives. In this context, the expansion of international cooperation with foreign archives and institutions involved in archival activities, particularly in the area of archival source exchange, is of great significance.
Денес, директорот на Државниот архив, д-р Наташа Котлар-Трајкова и д-р Даниел Долежал, застапник на Одделението/Одделот за архивско и канцелариско работење при Министерството за внатрешни работи на Република Чешка, потпишаа Меморандум за разбирање. На потпишувањето присуствуваше и чешкиот конзул, г-н Квјетослав Сулек – раководител на економскo-конзуларното одделение на амбасадата на Република Чешка, и заменик-директорот на Државниот архив, м-р Димитар Богески. Со овој документ се отвораат можности за размена на стручно знаење, обуки на специјалисти, организирање програми за научни истражувања, размена на копии од архивски материјали итн. Меѓу двата народи постојат историски врски и оваа меѓуинституционална соработка е во прилог на нивно зацврстување.
The interest of the State Archives in Czech sources related to the history of Macedonia is not new. In fact, between 2006 and 2010, four volumes of "Czechoslovak Diplomatic Documents on Macedonia" were published, covering the period from 1919 to 1989.
As part of the visit to the State Archives, the Czech delegation was introduced to an exhibition on the Manaki Brothers, the methods of processing archival funds, as well as archive documentation from significant archive collections.
