The State Archives, as an administrative organization established to carry out tasks related to the preservation and protection of archival material held by the Republic of North Macedonia, the arrangement and processing of archival material, and conducting archival research, strives to maintain regular and fruitful communication with the Government.
For this purpose, today, the Deputy Prime Minister for the Political System, Ljupčo Dimovski, paid a working visit to the State Archives, where he held a meeting with the Director, Dr. Natasha Kotlar-Trajkova. During the conversation, the Director informed the Deputy Prime Minister about the current situation within the institution, the set annual goals, and their implementation.
The meeting also discussed addressing the challenge of securing a dedicated facility for the institution that would meet archival standards. During the visit, Deputy Prime Minister Dimovski had the opportunity to meet with some of the archival professionals, familiarize himself with the working conditions, and observe the state of archival material protection in the depot.
The leadership of the State Archives, in order to promote the needs of the Archives and archival workers, will maintain a partnership and regular communication with the executive branch.
