From the 5th to the 7th of June 2024, the 32nd Convention of the International Archival Research Center (ICARUS) convened in Novi Sad, Serbia. The thematic focus of the convention centered on the nuanced interplay “Between the Analog and the Digital”.
The State Archives made a significant contribution to this international archival research event through the presentation delivered by Elisaveta Marković, MA, titled “Anoxia Treatment in Preventive Protection and Conservation of Rare Books and Archival Funds” (a case study). The event attracted archivists, researchers, and experts from various countries in the region and beyond. The State Archive remains committed to actively engaging with new knowledge in the archival field, diligently monitoring advancements, and applying them to further underscore the significance of the archival profession.
