On September 17, 2025, in Bitola, and in the presence of numerous representatives from the city’s cultural, academic, and public spheres, the Monograph marking the eightieth anniversary of the National Institution University Library “St. Kliment Ohridski” – Bitola was officially presented. The monograph was promoted by Prof. Dr. Natasha Kotlar-Traikova, the current Director of the State Archives of the Republic of North Macedonia, who highlighted that the eight decades since the library’s founding represent not just a passage of time, but an important historical thread reflecting the establishment, development, and safeguarding of Macedonian cultural and literary heritage.
The authors of this extensive work are M.A. Emilija Stefanovska-Davkova and Dr. Anita Angelevska, who stated that the monographic edition was created not only to bear witness to the rich history of the institution, but also to serve as a document that lives with the times and speaks to the future.
