In a period of time, from March 20 until 25, 2022, the Deputy Director of the State Archives, Dr. Muzafer Bislimi, together with Klimentina Ivanovska, MA acting Head of Department, and Irfete Ibraimi, MA, acting Head of Department, carried out scientific research work in the main directorate of the State Archives of the Republic of Albania, researched several funds, which, among other things, it contains photographs and maps.
During the stay, a working meeting was held with the director of the Institute of History, Dr. Afrim Krasniqi. At the meeting, it was agreed to open the possibility in the future, for archivists from the State Archives to be able to research in the archives of the Institute, which has extensive archive material. The documents available at the archives of the Institute of History are from the Austro-Hungarian Empire and date from the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, which also refers to the history of Macedonia.

Representatives of the State Archives also visited the Macedonian Cultural Center in Tirana and met with Director Zlatko Origjanski, as well as the Embassy of the Republic of North Macedonia in Tirana, where they met with Ambassador Danco Markovski.
