5 - 9 June - International Archives Week
This year marks 75 years since the creation of the International Council on Archives - ICA under the patronage of UNESCO, as an organization which unites the archives and the archivist from the entire world.
That is why the International Council on Archives, from Monday 5 to Friday 9 June 2023 organizes the Fifth International Archives Week (#IAW2023) that shall be dedicated to celebrating this important jubilee #75YearsICA. The importance of the records, the archives and the archival profession shall be promoted during the five sessions, where any archival institution or individual member of ICA can participate.
The first webinar shall cover the Impact of Social Changes on the Archival Work, with a discussion with representatives of IAC where all interested parties can participate. The archivists from the entire world are also invited to participate in the campaign dedicated to building the archival community during these past 75 years. These hashtags can be used for adding photographs, videos and/or archival documents in three categories: major events, leadership and global presence.
Меѓународниот ден на архивите – 9 јуни од 2007 година прерасна во Меѓународна недела на архивите во организација на Меѓународниот архивски совет. Архивиските професионалци од близу 200 држави во овој период сакајќи да го свртат вниманието на јавноста преку различни форми го промовираат сопственото работење и значењето на Архивите. Државниот архив ќе даде придонес во одбележување на Меѓународната архивска недела така што ќе ја постави изложбата „Македонија памети-никогаш да не се заборави“ во Домот на културата „Илинден“ во град Демир Хисар на 5 јуни (понеделник) 2023 година, и архивисти од Државниот архив активно ќе се вклучат во вебинарите на МАС и ќе споделат сопствени искуства од работата.
