The Director of the State Archives, Dr. Emil Krsteski had an official meeting with the Director and Program Coordinator of the Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA), Aitekin Ayden. In the conversation, the satisfaction from the current cooperation between the state archives of the two countries was mutually expressed, and new opportunities and forms of future cooperation were also discussed. The director Dr. Emil Krsteski informed Aitekin Aiden that within the new systematization of our Archive a new department for the Ottoman period will be established and that an exhibition on the historical ties between the two countries is planned, which is planned to be opened during the visit to the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan of our country which is planned for next year.
The meeting also discussed the digitalization of archival documents in the State Archives, for which the Turkish side expressed readiness to transfer Turkish experiences and gave support to the process of its realization.
