The State Archives is preparing a joint publication with the Federal Archive Agency of the Russian Federation for Russian emigration to our country in the first half of the XX century. That was one of the topics of the meeting of Dr. Emil Krsteski, Director of the State Archives with Mr. Andrei Viktorovich Jurasov, Deputy Director of the Federal Archives Agency (ROSARHIV), who visited the Archives accompanied by HE Sergey Baznikin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Skopje.
The desire for continuation and deepening of the cooperation between the two state archives was mutually emphasized, especially in the part of joint preparation of collections of documents on the history of the two countries, exchange of experiences in the field of digitalization, as well as organization of scientific research activities.
The meeting was also attended by the authors of the publication, Dr. Jasmina Damjanovska, Advisor at the Archive and Dr. Lenina Жila, from the Institute of National History, and the dynamics of the joint publication was determined, which is expected to be published by the end of 2020. or early 2021.
