Today, at the State Archives, we had the honor of hosting representatives and students from the National Skills Council of Malta. During the visit, the guests had the opportunity to become closely acquainted with the work of the Archives and with the processes of preservation, arrangement, and processing of archival materials. In the Conservation and Restoration Sector, they were presented with the process of conservation and restoration of archival documents as part of our everyday professional work. In the Department for Arrangement and Processing of Archival Material from the Old Period, as well as in the Ottoman Period Department, the guests had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with valuable archival fonds, Ottoman documents, and firmans that testify to the rich history of these regions.
