Within the publishing activity, the State Archives published three catalogs intended for the exhibitions "Skopje City Municipality", "The documentary wealth of the Tetovo archive", and "The documentary wealth of the Archive in Stip". State archives have different roles in society, but those who say they are custodians of memory, cultural institutions, and instruments of good governance are inevitable. The three catalogs speak in that direction, through which only a small part of the wealth of funds available to the State Archives and its Departments in Skopje, Tetovo, and Stip is forwarded. The catalog "Skopje city municipality" with more than 300 documents and photographs provides continuous data on the organization of government, administration, and public services from the second half of the 19th century, exactly through the available archival documentation provides an overview of the functioning of the Skopje Turkish municipality until today. They evoke memories of specific topics, periods, events, processes, people, and places, but also the transformation that the city of Skopje experiences precisely with the functioning of the city fathers.
The catalogs "The documentary wealth of the Tetovo archive" and "The documentary wealth of the Archive in Stip" chronologically followed the fund wealth of the archive departments in Tetovo and Stip. Starting from the medieval period, the Turkish period, the period of the Balkans and the First World War, the period between the two world wars, the Second World War, and ending with the liberation and development of institutions there, they offer the most important documents for the development of the city and the administrative organization, local governments after the liberation, the introduction of a multi-party system, the development of the economy, culture and education, sports and sports activities, tourism, etc.
The archives are continuous memories of the past, the most successful observers of the historical heritage and culture, and those connections the State Archives always tries to respect, mark and note with dignity exactly with its publications.
