At the beginning of the second semester of the school year, the State Archives opened its doors for archival education of the pupils. In addition to the realization of the project Education by Practice for the fourth year students in the secondary schools, the State Archives is also realizing educational visits of the ninth year pupils of the primary schools. On 27.02.2023 (Friday), ninth year pupils and their teacher in the Rametula Ameti primary form the village of Chiflik, municipality of Zhelino, visitied the State Archives - Central Department, and were introduced with its activity as a part of the History course. The pupils had an opportunity to get informed about the process of acquiring documents in the Archives, their keeping and preservation by conservation, restoration and digitization.
During the visit the pupils were acquainted with the library and the manner of using the books, with an emphasis of the importance of reading for their future education. The pupils were also received by the deputy director, professor Dr. Muzafer Bislimi, who informed them about some of the more significant functions of the Archives as an institution.
The archival professionals who are involved in realizing the education use presentation adjusted for the age of the pupils. The State Archives remains an institution open for cooperation with the schools and universities, thus confirming its social responsibility.
