A delegation of the State Archives led by the director, Dr. Emil Krsteski, on April 25, 2023, was part of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the existence of the Historical Archive in Nis.
The event was marked with speeches by the director of the Historical Archive of Nis, Snezhana Radović, the mayor of the city of Nis, Dragana Sotirovski, the director of the State Archives of Serbia, Dr. Miroslav Perišić, the advisor from the Ministry of Culture, Alma Rizvanović, the director of the State Archives of the Republic of North Macedonia, Dr. Emil Krsteski and the director of the State Agency "Archives" from Bulgaria, Mihail Gruev.
The event was opened with the exhibition "Old Balkan photographs", the result of the cooperation of the State Archives of the Republic of Northern Macedonia with the State Agency "Archives" from Sofia and the Historical Archive of Nis. In his address, Dr. Emil Krsteski emphasized the cooperation of archival institutions, which, as guardians of the past and beacons of the future, are the most worthy affirmers of the significance of the preserved cultural heritage.
