With the opening of the exhibition of documents and photographs on the theme: "Macedonia remembers, Never to Be Repeated", dedicated to the Macedonian Jews in the Officers' Home in Bitola, the Department of the State Archives in Bitola marked 69 years of its establishment. The State Archives - Department Bitola is an important institution, a treasury of original documents, letters, photographs and other types of archive materials from the region, which refer to the most significant social and political processes, events and individuals of our country.
As a guardian of the collective memory, the State Archives - Bitola Department creates and promotes cooperation with the broader public in order to nurture our history, but also realizes thoughtful research processes that enrich our national history, culture and tradition. The exhibition "Macedonia remembers, never to be repeated" in the Officers' Home in Bitola, will be open until 31 May 2023.
