Documentation related to the history and life of the Egyptians in the Balkans has been handed over and collected for the first time in the State Archives - Ohrid department, Celebrating the 24 June - the Day of the Balkan Egyptians. This act should motivate a similar move in other Balkan countries as well. The head of the Archives in Ohrid, Dr. Nikola Mitrović, on behalf of the State Archives, expressed great gratitude to Dr. Rubin Zemon for his commitment and for the historical documentation that was handed over to the State Archives, which will remain forever preserved for the posterity and represent a permanent mark of the existence of the Egyptians in these areas.
