The traditional lighting of the poetic fire and reciting of the poem "Longing for South" in Struga, marked the beginning of the 32nd edition of the international event - "Struga evenings of poetry" - which was opened by the Minister of Culture, Bisera Kostadinovska - Stojchevska. On the first evening, named: "Poetic Meridians", 25 poets from the world and RS Macedonia presented themselves, and tomorrow the program will feature the poetic portrait of the winner of the "Golden Wreath" award, Vlada Uroevic. As part of the Struga evenings of poetry, a festive event will be held on the occasion of the jubilee - 100 years since the birth of the poet, Aco Shopov, and portraits of the winner of the award: "Bridges of Struga", Gavin Bradley, and of the winner of the award Brakja Miliadinoci, dimitar Bashevski.
"The State Archive is an inseparable part of the Struga Evenings of Poetry, and preserves and digitizes the entire archives of this global cultural manifestation, and this process of cooperation will continue," said the director of the State Archive, Dr. Emil Krsteski.
