Today the State Archives was visited by Mr. Brian Kolodijcek, director of the Center of the Missionaries of Mercy “Mother Teresa” of San Diego, USA, who leads a research team on the character and work of Saint Mother Teresa. As a part of the visit, a working meeting was held with the director, Hrista Najdanov, MA, the head of the Department, Svetlana Usprcova and the head of the Department - Skopje, Tatjana Aleksovska-Sapundzioska, where various opportunities for future collaborations and concepts for further research were discussed activities in the State Archives.
The NGO Mother Teresa Center (https://www.motherteresa.org/) together with the Mother Teresa Institute, among many other activities, promotes the life and work of the saint by preparing and publishing her original manuscripts and materials. Three publications have been published so far, and the fourth, a biography of Mother Teresa, is under preparation. For that reason, a research team from the Center is currently visiting Mother Teresa's hometown with a mission to get as much information as possible about her.
