The Deputy Director of the State Archives, prof. Dr. Muzafer Bislimi, completed a research stay at the General Directorate of the Archives of the Republic of Albania in Tirana from 3 to 9 March 2024. This research project has been carried out during the last several years in order to research as much archival documentation as possible related to the history of Macedonia and to enrich some of the funds owned by the State Archives.
Based on the existing agreements between the two archives, the State Archives will receive free copies of documents in digital form, which will be used by domestic and foreign researchers in the future. Those documents come from the archival funds available to the General Directorate of Archives of the Republic of Albania, such as "Collection of Seals from Bitola Province", "Presidency of the Provisional Government in Valona", "Ministry of Interior", "Ministry of War" etc. .
The research team also included Irfete Ibraimi, MA., and Klimentina Ivanovska, MA, as experienced archival professionals.
