Public call to private holders to donate archival material

Working in the interest of the holders and researchers from the country and broad, the State Archives is constantly taking activities for detecting and registering of privately owned archival materials.

We invite all the citizens who own archival material (documentation) to demonstrate social responsibility, and donate it to the State Archives as an institution which cares about the collective memory and the historic past. The private holders (or their legal successors) have an opportunity to donate archival material which is especially significant for the national and local history, as well as for the social, political, economic, and cultural life of the past. The archival material donated in the State Archives and its departments is provided with an appropriate storage, physical and technical protection, expert and scientific research, study and processing, and is used in scientific purposes.
