In the interest of researchers studying the economic and business history of the Republic of North Macedonia, the State Archives and the National Bank are starting the operationalization of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed in 2023. Today, the director, Dr. Natasha Kotlar-Trajkova, and the representative of the National Bank, Vilma Trajkovska, established a timeline for the research and digitization of archive materials related to banks and banking organizations in the country.
In the meeting it was emphasized that it is of mutual institutional interest to continue locating, recording, and processing archive material significant for the economic and business development of the country. The Archives will continue to strengthen inter-institutional cooperation in order to collect documentation that will be useful to researchers and to seek partners for scientific and research endeavors.
