At NATO Headquarters in Brussels, the autumn session of NATO's Archives Committee is currently underway, which will convene on December 5 and 6, 2024.
This body has an advisory role in NATO's operations, and representatives from all member countries participate in its work. The State Archives is represented by Mr. Dimitar Bogeski, Deputy Director, and Svetlana Usprcova, Head of the Sector for Research, International and Domestic Cooperation, and Publishing of Archive Material.
Mr. Dimitar Bogeski, along with the other representatives, is part of the discussion on the process of declassification, extended retention periods for documents arising from NATO missions, as well as the use of artificial intelligence.
