Today, the Director of the State Archives, Dimitar Bogeski, and the Director of the “Marko Cepenkov” Institute of Folklore – Skopje, Prof. Dr. Zorancho Malinov, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, which officially advances collaboration in the fields of scientific research, digitization, and the protection of cultural heritage. The Memorandum provides for the joint implementation of scientific and professional activities, projects related to cultural and folklore heritage, the organization of professional events, and other joint initiatives. The Director of the Institute of Folklore emphasized that the State Archives represents the pinnacle and the most competent institution in the country in the field of preserving, processing, and valorizing historical and cultural heritage, stressing that the partnership is an important step toward deeper scientific and research cooperation. The Director of the State Archives expressed gratitude for the established institutional connection and expressed hope that through joint activities new scientific results will be achieved, richer sources for research will become available, and materials will be more accessible to the scientific and professional community.
