Today, the Director of the State Archives, Mr. Dimitar Bogeski, took part in and delivered remarks at the ceremonial awarding of certificates to mentors involved in the practical education of students from vocational schools. The event, organized with the support of the Center for Vocational Education and Training and UNICEF, focused on enhancing practical instruction, exchanging good practices, and acknowledging the vital role of mentors in the work-based learning process.
In his address, Director Bogeski emphasized the commitment of the State Archives to remain fully open to cooperation with vocational schools, providing students with a safe, professional, and structured environment in which they can develop practical skills and competencies.
He highlighted that the Archive has been actively supporting the work-based learning model for several years, enabling a large number of students to become familiar witharchival practice, document digitization, and the management of institutional memory.
Investing in young people means investing in the future workforce, in the development of young professionals, and in strengthening public services with new generations that understand the importance of documentation, transparency, and the preservation of cultural and historical heritage,” Bogeski emphasized.
