80 years of Macedonian Grammar, a celebration of the Macedonian language and its heritage

The Director of the State Archives, M.A. Dimitar Bogeski, attended today the ceremonial marking of May 5th, the Day of the Macedonian Language, organized by the Assembly of Macedonia and the Commission for Culture and Tourism.

The event also marked a significant jubilee—80 years since the publication of the first grammar of the modern Macedonian language, Macedonian Grammar by Krume Kepeski, a work that left a lasting mark on the development of Macedonian linguistics and education.

The Macedonian language stands as a living testament to our history, culture, and national identity, and its cultivation and preservation remain a shared duty and responsibility toward future generations.
