Acting Deputy Director of the State Archives of the Republic of Northern Macedonia, Dr. Muzafer Bislimi on a working visit to the General Directorate of Archives of Albania

A delegation of the State Archives of the Republic of Northern Macedonia led by the Acting Deputy Director Dr. Muzafer Bislimi from 8 to 11 May 2019 paid a working visit to the General Directorate of Archives of Albania. At a separate meeting, the two sides discussed the deepening of mutual cooperation in several fields such as exchange of information on the existence of archival documents, exchange of experts in the field of archival work, publishing joint editions related to archival documents, organizing joint exhibitions and providing mutual assistance. for the development and improvement of the quality of the archival activity and the conditions for storage and management of archival documents. The Director General of the Archives of Albania, Dr. Ardit Bido informed the guests about the international conference that will be held next month in Skopje, in which the archives from the neighborhood will take part. During the visit, the delegation from the State Archives of the Republic of Northern Macedonia had the opportunity to get acquainted with the organizational structure of the General Directorate of Archives of Albania, the work process and the digitization of archival material.
