On August 9, 2019, the activities for getting acquainted with the situation in the departments and improving the working conditions of the employees in the State Archive continued. The Director of DARSM, Dr. Emil Krsteski, accompanied by the Deputy Director, Dr. Muzafer Bislimi, Sasho Jankulovski, MA, State Counselor and Goran Stojkovski, Head of Department, visited the departments in Strumica, Stip and Kumanovo.
In DARSM - Department Strumica, the head of the department, Goran Kolevski introduced the members of the delegation with the current problems faced by this department and the need for rehabilitation and possible expansion of the depot. Director Krsteski was acquainted with the work of the department in all segments, and the need for technical equipment of this Unit was discussed.
The delegation of DARSM, led by the director Dr. Emil Krsteski made an insight in the work of the Department Stip, where he met and talked with the acting the head, Nada Krstevska. At the meeting she presented the work and the functioning of the archive in Stip, where certain weaknesses were ascertained, mainly of technical nature. It was concluded that certain parts of the premises in the depot need to be rehabilitated, for which the Central part of DARSM promised to provide support.
On the same day, the department in Kumanovo was visited, where the delegation got acquainted with the employees and the full picture of its function and competence. The head of the department, Vulnet Iseni, informed about the fulfillment of the annual work program, the coordination with the holders of archival and documentary material, as well as the coverage of the six municipalities, which are under the jurisdiction of this department.
