Within the activities for getting acquainted with the situation in the departments and improving the working conditions of the employees in the State Archive of the Republic of Northern Macedonia, the director of DARSM, Dr. Emil Krsteski, accompanied by the Deputy Director, Dr. Muzafer Bislimi, from m- Sasho Jankulovski, State Counselor and Emilija Rop, MA, Head of Department, on August 8, 2019 visited our departments in Tetovo and Ohrid.
At the meeting in Tetovo, the head of the department of DARSM, Mladen Matovski, M.Sc. introduced the members of the delegation with the current problems facing this department and the need for its technological equipment. Director Krsteski promised that he would commit to equip the department in Tetovo with new computers, printers and scanners as soon as possible and that he would immediately take measures to repair the damaged parts of the archive depots and the sanitary parts of the archive building, which should significantly to improve the working conditions and normal functioning of DARSM - Tetovo Department.
The DARSM delegation, led by the director Dr. Emil Krsteski in the Ohrid department met and talked with the acting the manager Slavica Jankovska, who presented in detail the work and functioning of the archive in Ohrid, as well as the needs for its technical equipment. The Archive in Ohrid received a promise that DARSM will meet their demands, in order to improve working conditions, as well as greater transparency and efficiency in providing services to citizens. DARSM - Ohrid Department has a wide range of services for users of archive material and with serious engagement takes care of the holders in its jurisdiction in the municipalities: Struga, Kicevo, Debar, Vevcani, Debarca, Zupa and others.
