On March 2 and 3, 2021, organized by the State Archive and the Ekaj Foundation, in Tetovo and Kicevo were promoted the publications "Turkish documents on the history of Macedonia, censuses from the XIX century, Skopski Sandzak, Kaza Tetovo, 1832/33, volume 1, book 1 "and" Turkish documents on the history of Macedonia, censuses from the XIX century, Skopski Sandzak, Kaza Kicevo, 1832/33, volume 1, book 1 "by the authors prof. Dr. Muzafer Bislimi, Assoc. Dr. Adnan Sherif and Irfete Ibraimi, MA.
In front of the audience, the authors in their presentations pointed out that the censuses in Tetovo and Kicevo Kaza conducted by the Ottoman state provide complete data that will be useful to researchers (historians, demographers, anthropologists) and all who are interested in local history. The censuses show the numbers of the able-bodied population of the Islamic faith. This facilitates the composition of the family trees of about 8 generations who lived in the neighborhoods and villages listed in both editions.
Within the two events, the exhibition "200,000 Yugoslav Emigrants" by the journalist Murteza Suloodza, MA was opened.
