On March 25 and 26, 2021, the Director of the State Archives, Dr. Emil Krsteski, participated in the online international conference "VI Days of IKARUS in Croatia", on the topic: Archives - borders, identities, reflections.
The conference was organized by IKARUS Croatia, in cooperation with the consortium IKARUS - International Center for Archival Research (ICARUS - International Center for Archival Research / www.icar-us.eu).
IKARUS Croatia is a member of the IKARUS consortium and is a non-profit organization dedicated to researching historical heritage, promoting the availability of archival sources through information technology and developing inter-institutional and international cooperation in the field of cultural, scientific and professional activities.
The conference presented the activities of IKARUS and its members through various activities for digitalization and protection of the written heritage within the current projects and programs across Europe, and it was attended by about 200 participants from 20 European countries.
