The State Archives of the Republic of North Macedonia on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of its existence published the monograph entitled "Seal of the Time - 70 years State Archives (1951-2021)" Jubilee edition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the founding and operation of the State Archive of the Republic Northern Macedonia is a selection of the most important, oldest and most specific documents, international agreements, photographs from exhibitions, posters, consultations, and working visits, gratitudes, and recognitions, excerpts from the daily press for the State Archives, located in the State Archives and its departments, as well as a historical review of the archival work of the past 70 years.
The monograph presents the inexhaustible data on the Macedonian history, tradition, and culture found in this vault. During the past years, the constant growth of the State Archives is obvious, which acquires its European character by accepting the European principles and regulations related to archiving and which are inserted in the new Law on Archival Activity as well as the implementation of the process of digitization of historical documents and materials.
The main purpose of publishing the monograph is to inform the general public and to enrich the idea of the great national significance of the documentary wealth that is kept and used in the State Archives. Through this Monograph, the citizens will be able to get acquainted with the activities of the State Archives, as well as part of the rich treasury of important documents at its disposal. The monograph was promoted on April 1, 2021, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the State Archives.
