Today, the ambassador of Spain in the Republic of North Macedonia, Jose Luis Lozano Garcia, was on a working visit to the State Archives, they met with the director, Dr. Emil Krsteski.
The two interlocutors discussed the possibilities for expanding the cooperation between the Archives of the two countries, especially in the area of the digitization process, and the possibilities for active support in that direction for the State Archives by Spain, a country in the second half of 2023 will preside over the European Union.
At this meeting, the director of the State Archives, Dr. Emil Krsteski, also emphasized our interest in documents from the Spanish archive, in which Macedonia and its participants in the Spanish Civil War are mentioned.
