In February 2023, a group of students of different years from HSCS "Zef Ljuš Marku " Skopje together with their professor in the subject of history visited the State Archives—central business, where they had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the basics of archive and archival activity.
To the students practically was presented the work process in the area of arrangement and processing archive material, conservation, and restoration of documents as well as digitization is a new priority in document protection. In order to encourage reading habits, the students were informed about the publishing activity of the Archives and the large library fund in the library and the method of how to use it.
Deputy director of the State Archives, Dr. Muzafer Bislimi presented the role and importance of this institution in society and expressed the hope that in further career development, the students will choose Archivist as a profession.
The coordinator of archive education for high school students is Nazmie Kurtishi from the Department of Research, International, and Domestic Cooperation and Publication of Archive Material.
