
The State Archives and the JNH Institute of National History are institutions that have been cooperating for many years in the field of scientific study of national history and preservation of the collective memory of the past. Inter-institutional projects and new initiatives are among the priorities of the State Archives, and for this purpose a work meeting held today between the director of the State Archives, Dr. Emil Krsteski, and the director of the Institute of National History, academician Dragi Gjorgiev.

As a part of the meeting, an agreement was signed by the directors, for the realization of a common publication on the history of the city of Skopje in the period between the two world wars, that is, on the education system in the indicated period. Scientists from both institutions will participate in the preparation of this important work, and archival funds of the State Archives will be used.

Dr. Emil Krsteski and Academician Dragi Gjorgiev also discussed the dynamics of realizing other common projects in the interest of scientific achievements, archival activity and closer cooperation between professionals from the two institutions.
