At the two-day meeting of the Vienna based International Center for Archival Research - ICARUS, a decision was passed to hold the 31st Convention, which is organized twice a year, on November 8, 9 and 10 in Skopje and Ohrid. At the General Assembly, among other things, the goals and perspectives of this significant organization in the field of archival science were discussed, as well as the benefits and expectations for improving its functioning in the future. At this ICARUS Assembly, which took place in Klein Mariazell, near Vienna, a discussion was held on the ways to popularize history and archival studies, for better care of history and the past and preservation of the common archival heritage and wealth.
During the General Assembly of ICARUS, there was also a promotion of the book Archives and Archival Research in the Digital Era, compiled by professors Zharko Vujoshevikj and Nebojsha Porikj.
