On 21 August 2024, in the premises of the Islamic Religious Community (IVZ) in Skopje, a working meeting was held, which took place in a pleasant and constructive atmosphere. The meeting was attended by archival professionals Nazmiye Kurtish and Blerta Emini and Reis-ul-ulema efendi Shaqir Fetahu, Mr. Irsal Yakupi, secretary of the IVZ, Mr. Mumin Omerov, head of the archives of the Institute of International Studies.
The main topic of the meeting was the possibility of cooperation and preservation of the historic documents of IVZ. The participants of the meeting exchanged information about archival materials and books, while the representatives of IVZ expressed great satisfaction for the cooperation with the State Archives. In addition, the possibilities for joint publications and projects were discussed, as well as for the creation of a fund for the preservation of materials.
At the end of the meeting both sides expressed gratitude for the commitment and cooperation, which will contribute to the development of institutional relations and the protection of the cultural and historical heritage of the Institute.
