On September 23, 2025 (Tuesday), at 12:00 PM, the exhibition “Memorials from the First World War in the Funds and Collections of the Archives of Yugoslavia” will be opened at the National Museum of the Republic of North Macedonia. The exhibition is organized by the Archives of Yugoslavia and the Republic Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of the Republic of Serbia. The exhibition will be officially opened by Prof. Dr. Nataša Kotlar-Trajkova, Director of the State Archives, Dr. Milan Terzić, Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia, and Dr. Nenad Lajbenšperger from the Republic Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of the Republic of Serbia.
As part of the event, publications by Dr. Živko Avramovski (1926–2020) will be presented. He was a historian from the Institute of Contemporary History in Belgrade, born in the village of Neprošteno, Municipality of Tearce. The extensive scholarly work of Professor Živko Avramovski includes several monographs, studies, collections of documents, and over one hundred academic papers.
