The Director of the State Archives, Mr. Dimitar Bogeski, MSc, held a working meeting with the Director of the State Archives under the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, Prof. Dr. Muhamed Ahmet Tokdemir. During the meeting, experiences were exchanged regarding modern archival practices, current challenges, and opportunities for enhancing bilateral cooperation. Special emphasis was placed on digitization, conservation, and the application of new technologies in the processing and protection of archival material.
The representatives of the State Archives had the opportunity to conduct a detailed tour of the Istanbul Archive and to become acquainted with the organization of work processes, specialized laboratories, digital document management systems, as well as the methods used for the preservation of archival material. During the meeting, mutual readiness was expressed for new projects, the exchange of expertise, and the further strengthening of partnership relations.
