With the visit of the departments of the State Archive in Bitola, Prilep and Veles, the introduction of the new director Dr. Emil Krsteski with the employees and the work of all departments throughout the country was practically completed. The DARSM delegation, which included the Deputy Director Dr. Muzafer Bislimi and the State Adviser Saso Jankulovski, MA, in Bitola talked with Meri Resnjak about the possibilities for improving the working conditions and greater openness of the Archive to the institutions and citizens. These topics were in the center of attention at the meetings with the heads of the departments in Prilep and Veles, Elena Chagorska and Naumce Rizoski, MA. The need for sooner completion of the renovation of part of the building in Prilep was emphasized, as well as the need for staffing in the department in Veles.
The director Dr. Emil Krsteski with the associates in Bitola and Prilep had working meetings with the mayors of these municipalities, Natasha Petrovska and Ilija Jovanoski. In the conversation with them, Krsteski emphasized the readiness of the State Archives for more transparent and more intensive cooperation with these municipalities, which was assessed as of mutual interest and was gladly accepted by the mayors. Special emphasis was placed on the cooperation of the Bitola Department with the municipality regarding the preparation of several exhibitions to be realized in the coming period.
