The International Centre for Archival Research (ICARUS) is holding its 28 Conference in Paris, from 23 May to 25 May 2022. ICARUS is an international archival organization which members 180 institutions involved in preservation of archival documents, provide access to these documents and organize the archival education. The members of ICARUS are mainly from Europe, although there are also representatives from USA and Canada. The topic of this Convention is the Private and Public Archives in the 21st Century, while the State Archives is represented by its director, Dr. Emil Krsteski. At the Convention, presided by Mr. Thomas Aigner, who is the president of ICARUS, special attention was paid to the processes linked with the archival science as a part of the historic science and its development, as well as with the interaction of the public and private archives, their legal status, preservation of documents and their digitization. This Convention is the first of the two that are organized each year, and for the first time since the start of the Covid-19 pandemics it held with a possibility for physical participation at the event, although it can be also followed on-line, where you are all welcomed.
