The vice president of the Government of the RNM, Ms. Slavica Grkovska, had a work meeting with the Director of the State Archives, Dr. Emil Krsteski, where they discussed the new Law on Archives Management, which is in a procedure and should be adopted soon in the Parliament.
It was mutually agreed that it is necessary to amend the Law with provisions in compliance with the processes linked with the new Strategy for Reforming the Public Administration (2023 - 2030) and the needs for digitization of the historic documents and materials.
The meeting also addressed other current problems with the functioning of the State Archives, with an emphasis on finding a suitable spatial solution for this important state institution.
